Happy Belated Anniversary (Day 253)
Missed my 11th wedding anniversary while I was out of town over the weekend, so I wanted to pay tribute to my lovely wife Rita. This is an antique wedding cake topper that her grandfather used back in the early forty’s.
Curiously enough, the base and background (it’s a wedding bell) for this little couple was made from cookie (think Animal Crackers) and is still completely intact; although it’s starting to become a bit crumbly.

Patrick Swayze is considered by some to be one of the best actors of our time; his dancing and singing unparalleled and his character work in Road House epic. <br />

Unfortunately, he lost a truly courageous battle with cancer yesterday. RIP Johnny Castle.<br />

PS - For those of you wondering what this is - it's the clapboarded side of a local dance studio - not my finest effort I will admit but it is what it is.<br />
