Early in 2009, I decided to capture an image every calendar day for an entire year. 365 days later, I have more gray hair, have aged a decade and alienated loved ones, but I did it and, most importantly, I didn’t miss a single day. Comments and criticisms are welcomed, both on composition and technique, and on content. Thanks for looking.

Teddy Ballgame (Day 246)
So my buddy Tom Frazier, who works in the office next to me, has a copy of a famous picture of Ted Williams taken on opening day in 1947 [a Brearley Collection photo to give them credit]. He also has a somewhat cheesy prismatic award of some sort sitting on his office windowsill (sorry Tom).
At this time of year, the light hitting the prism creates a rainbow off the bat of TW hanging roughly six feet away. Tom and I noted that this occurred at exactly 3:42pm last Friday but unfortunately I had already planned a shot for that day. So instead, I came back slightly earlier today to capture it (days are getting shorter now … bummer). I think it’s pretty cool.
