Early in 2009, I decided to capture an image every calendar day for an entire year. 365 days later, I have more gray hair, have aged a decade and alienated loved ones, but I did it and, most importantly, I didn’t miss a single day. Comments and criticisms are welcomed, both on composition and technique, and on content. Thanks for looking.

Traveler's Swag (Day 208)
We travel light. We actually do the whole backpack thing; makes running through train stations much easier as I can carry both Rita and my stuff and still break an eight minute mile.
However, this makes our ability to bring home souvenirs more limited – although this year we did purchase an small oil painting of a coffee cup, which is now hanging in our kitchen (think Starbucks).
Anywho, above is a still life of some of the stuff brought home in my pack: empty Cuban cigar tubes (cough, cough), Czech Absinthe, leftover Euros, Goldbaren (I grew up on this stuff), salt from the mine in Hallstatt (see Day 201), Franz Kafka sugar packet, Polizei t-shirt, and our passports.
