Early in 2009, I decided to capture an image every calendar day for an entire year. 365 days later, I have more gray hair, have aged a decade and alienated loved ones, but I did it and, most importantly, I didn’t miss a single day. Comments and criticisms are welcomed, both on composition and technique, and on content. Thanks for looking.

You Might Be A Redneck When ... (Day 139) ... you consider your front yard a storage annex. While this house didn’t have examples of more cliché redneck lawn ornaments (e.g. a car on blocks, refrigerator), I thought that the wheel chair was a nice touch. I was also amused by the bags of mulch; somehow I don’t think that should be the main focus of their landscaping efforts. PS – Wasn’t totally happy with the POV or focus on this shot but I am not going back for a retake else I might end up with a load of buckshot in my @ss; I did see them watching me through the window during this session. on May 30, 2009I love this shot and the series, keep it up. I see a lot of scenes like this while working as a surveyor but never feel comfortable breaking out a camera with the homeowners around. People already distrust surveyors and I don't need to give reason for them to be any more confrontational.
You asked about the height of the air horn in the old furniture factory. I believe the beams in that part of the building were about 12 feet up. The marks did look like hand prints, but they were probably made by someone wearing gloves, working on the steam pipes is my guess.
