Early in 2009, I decided to capture an image every calendar day for an entire year. 365 days later, I have more gray hair, have aged a decade and alienated loved ones, but I did it and, most importantly, I didn’t miss a single day. Comments and criticisms are welcomed, both on composition and technique, and on content. Thanks for looking.

Walking Tall (Day 52)
In less than thirty minutes, the Red Sox will take the field for their first spring training game of the season. Hopefully, they have better weather than we do. I will so be watching their second matchup of the season tonight; cap on head and beer in hand.
Sidebar: I can't tell you how polite drivers were as I crossed the street in front of my office on the way to get this shot; perhaps it was the bat resting on my shoulder. I may start walking everywhere with it.

on April 26, 2009This one caught my eye also, as it was a baseball and softball weekend. (check today's daily for a Red Barber reference and the cutest umpire you're likely to see today)
Cool perspective and light on this one. At first I was thinking a brighter colored hat would be more striking, but I kind of like how the one here blends with the color of the chainlink.
