She a Laughing Giggly Whirlybird (Day 79)
Driving up on a ridge outside Keene looking for my Daily (thought a sap bucket in the wild might be nice … stay tuned). Anyway, passed this helicopter sitting in a small field. The crew said that they were stringing power lines. They were nice enough to let me roam around and take a few pictures.
The title references a line in a song from one of my favorite bands, XTC.

!["A" Is For Movie Prop (Day 82)
FYI. Figured I would work through the letters of the alphabet (in order of course) as a photo project within a photo project.
So, what do I mean by movie prop, you ask? Say “aye” if you both saw and truly enjoyed the movie Jumanji, starring Robin Williams (circa 1995). […cricket…cricket…]. Thought so, Robin has been in quite a few bad movies.
Anywho, one of Keene’s claims to fame is the fact that a portion of the movie was shot here. For those who remember the movie, Sir Williams’ father owned a shoe company; Parrish Shoes. The “A” above is part of a Parrish Shoes mural that was used in the movie and remains on a wall downtown.
