Early in 2009, I decided to capture an image every calendar day for an entire year. 365 days later, I have more gray hair, have aged a decade and alienated loved ones, but I did it and, most importantly, I didn’t miss a single day. Comments and criticisms are welcomed, both on composition and technique, and on content. Thanks for looking.

Boo Communism (Day 117)
Happy May Day!
When I think of May Day I don’t think of Maypoles and cute little children with flowers in their hair. Instead, I think of Goose-stepping soldiers and missile launchers; symbols of a bygone era of Soviet propaganda.
However, nowadays, the only place you get the real deal is North Korea, and I’m not going there, so I decided to make my own little parade diorama.
Note: I am aware that this is a German Panzer tank but that was all that the toy store had. Oh, and props to Toy City on Key Road in Keene. They loaned me the tank for the night and I didn’t even have to leave a credit card number or cash as collateral. Living in a small town does have its perks.
